Principal’s Welcome« back to home

For over 125 years St John’s School has served the families and parish of Clifton Hill with vision and a strong sense of community. St John’s has a rich mix of cultural backgrounds, occupations and life experiences, but all of our families value learning and the many benefits it can bring.

When you become part of St John’s you are welcomed with warmth into a caring community. As a small school our children are known by name and valued for their individuality and personality. Every staff member, knows every student and their family at St John’s.

Fundamental to the Catholic ethos at St John’s is our belief that all life is sacred. With this in mind, we strive to live as Jesus taught us, assisting our families to pass on the Catholic faith to their children.

Members of St John’s staff are a dedicated and caring group of professionals who share a commitment to the children and families of the school. We work in partnership with our parent community and fully appreciate the role we are entrusted to play in educating their children, to develop their capabilities to contribute as citizens and leaders for our future.

We value this partnership between home and school, and actively seek opportunities to communicate with our parents at all times; whether at Drop Off or Pick Up at the gates, during our Parent-Teacher Exchanges or just our many informal conversations.

I look forward to welcoming you in person.
